Kozy Heat, the hearth products brand of Hussong Manufacturing, brings a fresh midwestern style to gas fireplaces. Founded in the 1970's by Dudley Hussong in Lakefield, Minnesota, the company has grown from a supplier to the hearth industry to an industry leader in their own right. Along the way, several Kozy Heat innovations in the gas fireplace market were such common-sense great ideas they have been adopted by virtually every manufacturer in the industry, including the faux doors now seen on all direct-vent fireplaces. As Lakefield’s largest employer, Hussong manufactures most of the components for their fireplaces and stoves in-house, ensuring the highest quality standards are met and eliminating the added costs of multiple suppliers.

As a result, today, Kozy Heat offers a complete line of gas fireplaces, with a full selection of media options including logs, rocks and sparkling glass, and at a tremendous value. Kozy Heat's Minnesota roots are evident in all of their products: each Kozy Heat stove and fireplace is named after a town in Minnesota.
